London Memories with the Dougalls

I first met Rachel through her calling in the Stake Primary of our Church, so it is fitting to put in a picture of her working in that capacity (even now!). Here she is, at the most recent Stake Primary Activity that she helped orchestrate.

I ended up working with Rachel in the Stake Primary for a while, and, after having realized that she would make a great piano teacher for my kids, I coaxed her into weekly lessons with them (and eventually me). Through all of this, we have gotten to know Rachel quite well, and now feel that she is practically family. For instance, she spoke at Ethan's recent baptism and celebrated with us afterwards. We love having her around and will really miss her. My 10 year old Parker is already volunteering that he is going to miss her. :(

Rachel has a bright, exuberant personality and is a joy to work with--as a friend, teacher, sister in the Gospel, and accompanist (I love making music with her! and listening to her beautiful harp music too!). We really are going to miss her dearly, and so will London.

We love you Rachel, and wish you well in your new adventures in marriage, post-university life, and returning to the States!

Keep in touch . . . Love, Laurel, Parker, Ethan, Sawyer, Aidan, and Rob

How to Post a Blog Entry

Hi guys,

Just in case some of you haven't done this before--here's what you need to do:

Go to the top right of the blog page and click on "new post". Choose a title for your post and type it in to the title box, making sure to include your name in it (i.e. Fun Times in Primary, by Laurel Dougall). Then type your memory/story into the main box. You can spell check by hitting the "ABC" icon, and add a photo by choosing the icon that looks like a photo (or likewise for video), and go from there. It's really that simple.

When you are done, click on "publish post".

Hope to see lots of posts soon!
